General Terms and Conditions for Online-Payments
- Once a person accepts these Terms and Conditions, he/she may register and avail the online payment services provided by NN.
- All rights, obligations, and undertakings of NN shall be subject to the laws in force in India and any directives or procedures of the Government of India.
- Nothing contained in these Terms and Conditions shall restrict NN’s right to comply with requests or requirements of law enforcement or regulatory authorities relating to any person’s use of the website or information provided to or collected by NN.
- Each person agrees that disclosure of details relating to his/her use of the website to regulators, police, or any third party for resolving disputes or complaints shall be at the sole discretion of NN.
- If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is held to be invalid or unenforceable under applicable law, such provision shall be replaced with a valid provision that most closely reflects the original intent, and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
- These Terms and Conditions constitute the entire agreement between the person and NN and supersede all prior communications, whether written, oral, or electronic.
- A printed version of these Terms and Conditions and any electronic notices shall be admissible in judicial or administrative proceedings.
- Entries maintained by NN and/or the Payment Service Providers in the ordinary course of business shall be binding on the person and shall constitute conclusive proof of the accuracy and authenticity of such transactions.
Limitation of Liability
- NN provides this service solely as a convenience and expressly disclaims any liability arising from its use.
- The person agrees that he/she is solely responsible for his/her conduct while using the service.
- NN reserves the right to suspend or terminate access to the service at any time without prior notice.
- NN and/or the Payment Service Providers shall not be liable for:
- Any inaccuracy, error, delay, or omission in data, information, or messages;
- Any loss or damage arising from such inaccuracies, delays, or omissions;
- Any interruption or non-performance of the service.
- Under no circumstances shall NN, the Payment Service Providers, or their employees, directors, or agents be liable for direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages arising from the use or inability to use the service.
- NN and the Payment Service Providers shall not be liable for any loss or damage arising due to:
- Delay, failure, interruption, or corruption of data during payment processing;
- Errors or interruptions in the payment gateway.
- The person agrees to indemnify and hold harmless NN and the Payment Service Providers from any claims arising out of or in connection with the use of the service.
Miscellaneous Conditions
- The person understands that personal data, including debit/credit card details transmitted over the internet, may be vulnerable to misuse, hacking, theft, or fraud.
- NN and the Payment Service Providers have no control over such risks and shall not be held responsible for the same.
- While reasonable security measures are in place, NN does not guarantee that use of the services will be free from unauthorized access or data breaches.
- NN, the Payment Service Providers, and their affiliates shall not be liable for:
- Errors, omissions, interruptions, or delays in service;
- Computer viruses, system failures, or communication line failures;
- Unauthorized access to or alteration of information.
- Online payments are processed using secure technology (SSL). NN shall not be responsible for any failure by the person or third party to safeguard information during the payment process or for inaccurate information provided during such transactions.
Debit/Credit Card and Bank Account Details
- The person confirms that all debit/credit card or bank account details provided are accurate and legally authorized for use.
- The person agrees not to use any card or account that is not lawfully owned or authorized.
- By initiating a payment, the person confirms that:
- He/she is legally entitled to use the card or bank account;
- The details provided are accurate and complete;
- He/she authorizes debit of the selected card or account for the payment amount and applicable charges;
- Sufficient balance or credit is available at the time of payment.
Transaction Charges
- NN does not levy any processing or service charges for online payments.
- Any transaction charges, convenience fees, or applicable taxes levied by the payment gateway or bank shall be borne by the person.
- Such charges will be displayed on the payment portal at the time of payment.
Payment Gateway / Net Banking Disclaimer
- The online payment facility is provided solely to facilitate ease of payment.
- NN and the Payment Service Providers do not make any representations or warranties regarding the uninterrupted or error-free operation of the payment gateway.
- By using the online payment facility, the person agrees that such use is entirely at his/her own risk and responsibility.
