I had certain complications with my eyes. (Post Lasik Ectasia)..Consulted Dr. Himanshu (Got his reference from a friend of mine).Doctor reviewed my eyes and suggested treatments such as C3R and Intacs. Got the treatments done on both the eyes and later was asked to wear Scleral Lens as that alone would give me very good vision..Doctor was very good, had immense knowledge, very friendly and explained in detail the complications of my eyes and gave me assurance too which is very much needed.Vikas who helped me in getting my Scleral Lens was very patient and cleared all my doubts when I asked him. He is good at what he does.I had issues with one of the lens in my eye, but Vikas being a very nice person got it replaced.
He is more like a friend to me and very helpful.After wearing Scleral lens, my vision has absolutely improved.

My mom and dad had underwent cataract surgery under Dr. Himanshu Matalia. I would say the the experience was great from consulting to surgery to post op care. I will define Recommend Dr Himanshu and Narayana Nethralaya.

One of the best eye hospitals in Bangalore. Dr. Himanshu is one of the best cornea specialist in the hospital. I was treated for my Keratoconus and C3R procedure was done by Dr. Himanshu in 2008. Post the procedure, I was wearing Rose-K lenses for clear vision. However, they were not very comfortable to wear due to sensitivity to light. However, when I visited recently to replace the lens, I was advised by Dr. Himanshu to go for Scleral lens which is the latest technology and very comfortable to wear with more sharper vision. He directed me to Mr. Vikash Kumar for lens trial and fittings . I was amazed by Vikash skills and patience in which he took the exact measurements for lens and made me understand on usage of lenses. He is extremely friendly, professional and fully dedicated to his work. His calm demeanour and full focus towards ensuring the best fitted lenses with full clear vision for keratoconus patients like me was really appreciated. He answered all my queries in details and I felt comfortable using the lenses during trial sessions. One of the best optometrist that I have met in my life. Such are the people like Dr. Himanshu and Mr. Vikash who make Narayana Nethralaya as one the the best eye hospitals in Bangalore and India.
