Dr.Maithri got her basic medical education from NMC, Raichur and her Diplomate of National Board in Ophthalmology from M N Eye Hospital, Chennai. Her interest in pediatric ophthalmology was spurred during her senior Residency at CMC Vellore after which she completed long term fellowship in pediatric ophthalmology and strabismus at Narayana Nethralaya, Bengaluru. She has keen interest in early visual screening, myopia, treatment of squint and is dedicated towards providing better quality of life to children with cerebral visual impairment. Her work of interest also includes orthoptics and binocular single vision.
