We are so grateful to Dr Naren Shetty for performing cataract surgery for my mother. She was scared of getting a surgery for so many years and only came now because the cataract had started affecting her badly. We got an appointment at Narayana Nethralaya and the entire experience so far has been wonderful. We have yet to come across a hospital where everyone from the receptionist to the staff are so caring and kind. As for Dr Naren, he put my mother at ease. The surgery was over in less than 1/2 hour and she came out smiling and reported that she was not scared at all because of the doctor. The surgery was painless and she didn’t even realize when it was over. I met Dr Naren for the follow up and I agree with my mother – he really has a gift for putting old people at ease and of course he is a really accomplished surgeon. Now my mother is keen to get the other eye operated soon from him 🙂 what a change from last week when I literally had to drag her here. I feel so lucky that my mother got operated by the best eye surgeon.
