How has meditation helped me?

Meditation has given me a headspace to be able to breathe in a mind full of clutter and confusion. To be able to find clarity in the midst of all the chaos.
Meditation has helped me be more positive and happy. It has helped me be a better, more empathetic person. It has helped me find justification to my choices. It is surprising because being a hard-nosed clinician- scientist we need proof of things before we believe in it. Meditation is an exception. It is difficult to put words to the feeling and one has to experience it to feel and believe in it.
Also, I always thought that the whole idea of meditation is to become thoughtless. But in all honesty it hasn’t worked like that for me, I have thoughts when I meditate but to be able to find a space of calm and to be able to stop the constant battle inside my head, to surrender and then find the answers the right thoughts, the concentration is what meditation does for me.
It is 20 mins that I dedicate for the heath of my mind and its working! Every day I am getting closer! Everything is clicking. Meditation ensures that the events of today dampen the spirits. Things couldn't be any better than they are now. It allows me to Continue! Press on! Keep showing up, be present, open every door and let events unfold. It lets me breathe!

Holistic approach is helped our patients especially uveitis cases to strengthen their mental state through meditation. .It has different techniques like breathing techniques for respiratory diseases, meditation and asanas for chronic diseases like hypertension, central serous chorioretinopathy, and autoimmune diseases.
