A Holistic Wellness and Stress Management workshop was conducted for the women staff my own family at Narayana Nethralaya, Rajajinagar center, to help them begin their journey inwards.

Studies show that occupational or work‐related stress has been a long-standing concern of the health care industry. Heavy patient loads, long work hours and overly high expectations from patients and superiors can lead to a whole lot of stress. While stress is not a disease or injury, it can still lead to mental, emotional and physical ill health. This can in turn lead to decrease in quality of work as well as employee productivity.

At Narayana Nethralaya, the overall well-being of employees is very important to us. We realized that our women employees are more prone to stress due to the clash between work and family roles and responsibilities. This Women’s Day, a workshop was conducted to help them learn how to deal with stress and effectively balance work-life pressure through Pranayama and Meditation.
