Dr Sherina completed her MBBS at Medical College, Calicut and M.S Ophthalmology at Christian Medical College, Vellore. She then went on to complete her RGUHS recognised fellowship in Vitreo retinal surgery at Narayana Nethralaya, Bangalore. She is also a Member of Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh, UK.
She has several national and international publications to her name and has presented papers and posters at national and international conferences. Her areas of interest include Diabetic Retinopathy, Retinal dystrophies and genetic disorders, Age related macular degeneration and surgical retina.
