She completed her basic medical education (MBBS)and Post-graduation (MS Ophthalmology) from MGIMS Sevagram. She has completed her Long term fellowship in Cataract surgery, Refractive surgery, Advanced IOL fixation surgery, Paediatric cataract, Medical Retina and Translational Research from Narayana Nethralaya and has been trained in cataract surgery (Phaco emulsification) with premium IOL implantation and various Refractive Surgeries as well as Keratoconus management. She has presented papers, posters and videos in various International and National Conferences. She is a member of All India Ophthalmological Society.
