After completing her MS Ophthalmology from Mysore Medical College & Research Institute she went on to pursue long term fellowship in Glaucoma from the prestigious Aravind Eye Hospital, Pondicherry. She was awarded gold medal for securing highest marks in M.S in the state of Karnataka from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences. She has also recieved gold medal for best out going student 2017, from Mysore Ophthalmic Association. She was also awarded Dr.G. Venkataswamy Gold medal for securing highest marks in India in DNB, 2017. She was the winner of various quizzes and received grant to attend the APAO conference in Singapore, 2017. She has presented papers, posters and given talks in various conferences. She is a life time member of All India Ophthalmological Society, Karnataka Ophthalmic Society, Glaucoma Society of India and Young Ophthalmologists Society of India.
